VeganFest, VeganCamp, meetings and jam.

As the title suggests, there are beautiful things in the program, and many all juicy, do participate report spread.
To begin the VeganFest 2011, to be held the weekend of Easter Christian (purposely all lower case, I apologize if someone feels offended, but I can not give the capitals in this farce )..... .. that idea: a festival of cruelty-free just in those days when one of the major religions of the world celebrates peace and love highest sacrificing thousands of lambs [ at least a paradox, to be a little objective is ... ]...... I like the idea and I like those who organize it, I like everything and I invite you to view the official website of the event, there are some really cool stuff.

....... then I am involved, as also saith the banner here in the adjacent column, the VeganCamp that is part of where we discuss issues dear to us and that should be dear to all the inhabitants of this wonderful planet, listening to and confronting search / find solutions or proposals and shared utiletiche, always towards a more sustainable world and return to human scale by reversing the trend of massification consumerist slave to money and power.
Shit, sounds like a serious person tell the truth ^ ^
It will be an opportunity here as well as comparison of pleasant hours and days, people with knowledge of the currently only have a nickname, and will have happy faces and bright eyes and smiling lips ... and lamb, yes I believe that we embrace.

And to continue with the trials of Bibi is me, this week I made the cheese spread vegrino or vegan, as Mirko recipe and came very very good, my husband calls for an encore, so thank you Mirko.

And the jam.
The jam is made with citrus fruit, with all other fruit jam is made already. I love my drug dealer Sicilian citrus and I procured 12 (twelve, yes) kg of clementines, the sugar that really pulls a the other, but cherries, clementines so good that I had never eaten. So here's my
CLEMENTINE MARMALADE THE BIBI

2 kg of clementines (directly from the manufacturer, or bio)
1 lemon 700g natural
brown sugar a pinch of crumbled vanilla bean
1 teaspoon agar-agar

I peeled clementines and held the 10-peel fruit smoothie part that I blanched and chopped coarse leaving, then I put in the pot, while I sterilized the jars in ' boiling water for 30 minutes (an exaggeration perhaps, but was the first time and did not want to do damage), then I shake the lemon and vanilla and put in the pot, I blended in very low speed clementines coarsely chopped into wedges leaving them and put them in the pot (the same pensola, she always ), I added the sugar, mixing well mixed and let cook on low heat for one hour, stirring from time to time, I added the agar-agar and stir cook for another 20 minutes stirring occasionally, then I verified that the jam was the right consistency put a teaspoon on a saucer, if it does not slip comel'olio is ready. She was ready
^ ^ At this point I have paid in jars 250g (which I do not like to leave open the jars in the refrigerator and the risk of not finishing them and then throw the stuff, come on, you can not just ... so small jars) I have sealed, and I left a few minutes upside down, then I've ribollita for 20 minutes, head up, extracts, dried and allowed to cool.
What about ........ I do not usually stain to compliments on its own, but I love the citrus jam and when I tasted a spoonful I almost could not believe I have done something so good .. ... I moved like a fool ^ ^
